“Man of La Mancha” Broadway Musical
July 5 – 20th
Sponsored in part by Lambros Real Estate ERA
The story is based on the true account of Miguel de Cervantes’ imprisonment during the Spanish Inquisition. While in the dungeon with murderers and thieves, Cervantes must rely on his quick wit and theatrical skills to present a story to his fellow prisoners to keep them from taking all he owns. His most prized possession is an unfinished manuscript called “Don Quixote de la Mancha,” which he and his humble manservant then begin to present, using various prisoners to portray other characters in the story.
The show is about living life not as the world sees - but as it should be. As this tale within a tale unfolds, we begin to question our own perception of life. It’s really quite moving, especially the show’s theme song, The Impossible Dream.”

“Snake in the Grass” – Mystery & intrigue
July 23 – August 10th
“Snake in the Grass” combines mystery and intrigue for what the Sunday Times calls “A creepily, scarily, eerily enjoyable evening,” by one of the theatre’s most prolific writers, Sir Alan Ayckbourn. The play, concerns Miriam, who has cared for her father in the family home during his failing last years with the help of a creepily polite nurse, Alice. Upon Father’s death, Miriam’s older sister, Annabel, comes home after thirty years in Tasmania to find Daddy has left the bulk of his fortune to her. Alice complains to Annabel that Miriam has sacked her and is intent on blackmail, having evidence, she says, that Miriam did away with the old man. The sisters join forces against Alice and the blackmailer’s body is soon hurtling down the well. But all does not there.
