Neal Lewing

Neal Lewing

In a career that’s spanned five decades, Neal’s musical roots have taught him two things: The power of a good story cannot be ignored, and music is a mighty teaching tool. And never take yourself too seriously. Ok, three things.

Reminiscent of the ‘70’s coffee house era where he cut his musical teeth, he has entertained, educated and inspired with music of virtually every genre, from folk and western, blues and jazz, rock and pop, standards, classical, country, ethnic, show tunes and hundreds of originals. Neal’s albums enjoyed international distribution long before the days of Internet marketing.

Standard entertainment for any occasion, Neal comes as one man, one guitar, one thousand songs. The Portland Oregonian called Neal in concert “Sheer poetry… not to be missed.”

Also available is a series of 1-man music/history shows. 1-hour shows illuminate specific events and/or individuals in western history with traditional and original folk music, legend, lore, lies and a few laughs. Popular shows include
